Blank

Blank

A Poem by Cassidy Mask

The stars are bright

As they twinkle

The perfect inspiration

But my mind is blank

The wind is angry

As it numbs my skin

The perfect anaesthetic

But my mind is blank

The seas are dark

As they tear at the rocks

The perfect imagery

But my mind is blank

The sun is scorching

As it blisters my skin

The perfect reminder

But my mind is blank

The music is loud

As it blasts from earphones

The perfect stimulation

But my mind is blank

The night is lost

As the sun finally breaks

Over the horizon

The perfect end

But my mind’s still blank

blank

blank...
