Under The Stairs

Under The Stairs

A Poem by Cassidy Mask

I have a little friend

He lives in the cupboard

Under the stairs

And every time

I’m on the computer

The door pops open

And I know

That he’s there

Watching me

I never see him

And when

I take a peek

Through the crack

All I see is

The jumble

Of boxes

Mops and

Plastic Bags

But he is there

Always there

Always watching

Never seen

Under the Stairs
