Anger

Anger

A Poem by Cassidy Mask

A flood

Of rage rippling

Those

Around you.

A sticky black

Substance

Catching in your hair

And

Tearing

At your insides.

Knotting up your

Spine in

Anger snapping

Your

Bones and ripping

Your nails.

Fire

And lightening

Ripping up the roots of

Trees

Tearing them

From the

Earth.

Pain

A tearing shredding

Knotting ripping gasping

Pulling catching

Hammering

Cutting

Feeling.

Nothing

Left no

Hint of the pain

No

Mark of the death

Just a

Roaring filling

Your ears.

Then

Nothingness.
