All the lies you've told will catch
you up, one day, she said. And through all the warping changes of the days and years that thought remains. Yesterday, again. You'll look at me a little oddly try to smile and break your teeth. Remember how this goes, again? The subtle sweetness of the milky tea she'll serve. Just a little late. We hold on, again. Already you've forgotten but that thought remains. You'll never get yesterday again.
