The Randomness of My Mind

The Randomness of My Mind

A Poem by Christine

My mind wanders

Broken

          Shattered

Peices falling to the floor

Heart

        Bleeding

tears flowing

        knocking persistently on the door

Leave

        Lonely

sadness lurks in the shadows like a stranger

 Hope

           Faith

Light and Dark battle askew

Love and Hate

                  are one and the same

Happiness and Anger

                          lead to betray

Souls mourn

                Souls heal

Souls forgive souls who deal

Good and Bad

                   Light to Dark

Peak over the line but do not cross

STOP!

          Let me sleep!

Bring me to dreams that escape reality

I loved this. I'm sorry it's taken so long for me to write to you about this, but random does as random does. Anyway (s), I loved the push and pull of your thoughts and I think the way you structured this piece supports that motion of what everyone in this world goes through. You were able to pull an emotion out of randomness and that is talent. Nicely done!

Spill it all out in pixels and then
maybe
you can sleep.

Nicely done. I like it, especially the first stanza.

Just a bunch of random thoughts but they fit together. Funny how that works sometimes. I enjoyed it none the less.
