Love's magic spell

Love's magic spell

A Poem by Christine

Please No CSS

Blue eyes twinkling with merriment,

Laughter rings out over the land.

Happiness engulf their bodies

As lovers walk hand and hand.

Troubles and worries

They disappear while in each others’ arms.

So they stay intertwined

All night long.

The night turns into day

And they know they must part

But love has woven its magic spell

Around these two hearts.

I love the economy of words.
Untold volumnes have been written about love,
this small poem brings us the fundamentals in a
few words and may speak as deeply of the subject
and as profoundly as if it were expanded into thousands
of words.
Excellent !

A sweet dream in which so few truly share in.

Oh yes, I have experienced that kind of love. Floating from dawn to dusk just to be able to see him again. Enchanting write!

Enchanting. A magical spell is such a wonderful concept. "love has woven its magic spell" - the way the poem is woven is almost magic. The second stanza is my favorite. Like magic...
