Day 1

Day 1: Put song on shuffle (I used Pandora cause f**k if I'm actually paying for music) and write 250 words inspired by the first and last lines of the song.

First Line: From walkin home and talkin’ loads

Last Line: And I’ll be me

The realization cut worse than the sharpest blade ever could. There was no turning back- no way they could possibly turn back the hands of time to fix what went wrong between the two of them. It was a sickening poison that took less than a minute to spread, but over a year to be diagnosed.

It started out fine. In the beginning, only laughter, smile, and positive vibes radiated off the loving couple. Romantic dates were frequent, cuddling was practically mandatory, and only loving words emitted from their lips. But as time progressed, their relationship deteriorated into senseless fighting- screaming matches and sleepless, sob-filled nights.

He loved him, but he knew they would have to go their own separate ways. An unhealthy relationship takes too much of a mental and physical toll on each partner. If only they’d realized sooner they’d be much better off.

Maybe it was society’s delusional thoughts of needing to find someone to love that the two rushed too quickly into each other’s arms; it may have been after they’d gotten together, when they started distancing themselves just to feel like they could breathe again.

Whatever the case may be, it’s over. They’re through. After a year and a half of repetitive fighting and making up, there’d be a blissful period of solitude. They’ll each go on to live their separate lives.
