A Thousand NeedlesA Poem by pristineA thousand needles to prick her eyes That was her bargain that I despise She told me if she were to betray This atonement’s her preferred way
If that time would come, I say I would never ever let her pay I do believe in her Not to betray me either
Quite a best friend she had been A relationship I’d never trade in She was one of a kind Always we have been bind
A ruckus came after Then I had never seen her From then on, I didn’t know what was going on
What’s ridiculous though? Everyone’s avoiding me so They have been talking on my back Saying things that I must have lack
Where could my best friend be? It is her I want to see Now that I need her the most She seems to have gotten lost
A week or two passed by I found her at last and cry I was in a state of surprise It’s also like a thousand needles pricking my eyes
My beloved best friend I did find But now she is already blind I am wondering why? I hope she wouldn’t lie. © 2014 pristine |
