I DRINK WINE

I DRINK WINE

A Poem by GypsyMoonCat
"

Well, I do ... often ... hic

"

I drink a lot of wine, you know

a glass or more gives me the glow

I savour when the day is through

but come undone once I’ve had two

by three i am in mellow heaven

pickled by, um, sicsh or sheven

the fda would dishapprove

but their advishe doff not behoove ...

... i’m guzzling from the boddle now

mefinks oi’d mish the

            glash      shumhow

Being pickeled and uncontained out of a jar. A recipe for disaster. I enjoyed your poem. Made me laugh. Thanks for sharing.

Makes me smile; I can picture the speaker becoming slowly drunk. Reminds me of drunk history. :3 (raise a glass) cheers

I write mainly poems, but sometimes do the odd short story or flash fiction. I love poetry, although I'm not keen on the modern three line style, so you won't see many, if not ANY, of those! Been writ.. more..
