and then you will know what I see when I look in to your eyes.

Imagine a food so

appetizing

and then you will know what it tastes like when we kiss.

Imagine a fabric so
soft
smooth
silken
delicate
and then you will know what it feels like when we caress.

Imagine a storm so
balmy
bleak
dour
grim
depressing
somber
and then you will know what it's like for me when you are away.

Now imagine a love so

carefree
joyous
passionate
romantic

I really like it. I always find it hard to write love poems as well, my attempts are always cheesy and seemingly insincere. I think you've embodied all the feelings that one feels when in love, and that's an accomplishment.
