Purple Hues

Purple Hues

A Poem by h cingisiz
"

Dark poem of abusive relationship

"

My monsters eyes are not green

Red in rage, blue after a storm.

turns once loved skin

To purple hues.

Bruised.

Leave him, everyone will sigh

One day yes, but memory fades.

love returns once more

Color of rose

Kissed

My love strong, is not a sin

What I said, something I did

Turns words to fire

Three Degrees

Charred

Believe him? I heard her say

Nurse at my side, but time heals.

Forgiveness is mine

Discharged again

Flowers

My monsters eyes were not green

Red in rage, red after all.

I missed the step

Color of death

Fallen.
