What goes on outside

What goes on outside

A Poem by CindyCinnamon

Sierra Leone

Vast beauty it beholds

For some the great land is enough

Others search for something more

The greed is in their veins

Its continous

And overwhelming for the natives

It won't be long till all the blood is splattered

I don't have to worry

I am far from those lands

I never knew anyone there

It is okay

As long as my diamond ring comes on time

The story of the diamond doesn't matter

But the price tag matters.
