Letter to a Broken LoverA Poem by Luciart - 'No particular place to go' by Henri de Toulouse-Lautrecfind it hard to face the black void without you space left behind chills me to the bone shape of you still melted to the pillow cast forever like lovers in Pompeii embracing til the last breath, leaves my lips filling the silence shaking and regret all the words thundered across space and time meaningless, now all i hear is the rhythmic pounding head against chest rising, falling steady, fast trace the shape of your bleeding heart and remind me there's still work to be done, set in stone goodbyes are not forever, but invitations to mend the aching of your mind press my hands against the cascading bricks fight til the end for what's right cos this is right, in your arms there are no goodbyes only hills to conquer battles to win grasping your hand i feel i can unite the lands and reclaim your love, a song i sing when the feelings get too much the reminder that we are broken but both mending, slowly, together united by whispers of promises we both can not break, the glass invite you inside these halls felt so lonely until you arrived brought colour to the walls and opened up my eyes to a life worth living with you by my side
