Sunken Ship

Sunken Ship

A Poem by N. Hadley

No one listens

to the mother

her religion is now

irrelevant -

a sunken ship

in an infinite

ship graveyard.

Shunned by divers

and treasure seekers

a like - no gold,

no glory,

no god here.

Just a sad old

woman barking

at the void.
