an idiot hum
a droning in the atmosphere
subduing the weak and 
perverting them into zombies

They gather and build hives
joining the collection.

Cities of honeycombs lush with sweet amber
will ensnare the mighty beasts,
(the lions, the tiger and bears)
that did not initially abide.
