One bad poem

Us writers can all relate.

When you are writing

one bad poem.

It feels like

Trying to speak

when you are mute.

Trying to laugh

when you want to cry.

Trying to reach something

too far away.

Trying to fight back

when you’re hopeless.

There is no such thing

like one bad poem.

When it is

a scream in your heart

but you couldn’t put down.

A confession

being hidden by many interruptions.

A great love story

but no one wanted to hear.

Young hopeless poets

With messy hair and

What’s the word?

Black…

Deep…

Empty eyes.

Tons and thousands

of sleepless nights

Trying to pack

beautiful, meaningful

and supernatural thoughts

into lines.

Trying to pack

the complication of the world

into words.

Hiding the treasure of their hearts

into the greatest maze.

Young mindless poets

Choosing matching pieces

From a billions pieces puzzle

Gaining some early wrinkles

Burning feelings in their chests

Waiting for an explosion

That may never happen

And yet complete

One bad poem.
