LavenderA Poem by Chloe T.For my beautiful youthShe wraps a lavender branch ‘round her finger Nothing in her eyes But the shade of purple Nothing in her mind But the dreamy smell. She is sitting in a lavender field Purple clouds Windy hill Hair’s flying like a piece of silk Swinging branches Thousands flowers Kiss her skin. She weaves a lavender branch in her hair A numb feeling rises in her heart A flashback A place she once called home A man who always comes Death Is just the way things go A place where she’s alone A man who never comes Back. She is sleeping in a lavender field Faithful purple In her dream She turns into a little stream Melt into the lavender field Little flowers keep on blooming Never end Faithful purple Never fade A man now always stays In her lavender prayers. © 2015 Chloe T. |
