BonsaiA Poem by Chloe T.forced beautyHe clips a yellow leaf on the skinny branch shaped like cloud or swirling silk. Lively shoots reach the wind his face, love melts petty fingers I see dew in her hands or lips, greenish, see-through skin Sing, sing the song of curly leaves and rough body and teary heart, break thru the cracks of her shell. Bonsais, angels with glued feathers made their wings. Where bonsai lays pebbles cover Where bonsai stays rain is closer His fingers slide bonsai wounded on those legs he tied here lays the knot, cross over buckling her heart, screaming in pain Beautiful, aged, she looks Thousand decades, she feels. 2013 © 2015 Chloe T. |
