Love vs Truth

Accepting the past
Being in the present
Dreaming of the future
That is Love

Yet at times
Looking back
Shakes our present
And blurs our future

Why and how
It's hard to find out
Not because we can't
But because we're afraid

Afraid that lies
May be sweeter than the truth
Afraid that present
May be an illusion after all
