To Society

To Society

A Poem by SimpleMind
"

The society is like a rat race. Even if you win, you're still a rat.

"

This society is so fucked up

And it’s mocking me hard

Calling me a useless tramp

Throwing me in sinner’s camp

Mother of all b*****s!

I am judged and condemned by sinners

Referring to my braveness as cowardice

And being humble as shameless

Oh this rotten society

Will be amazed if you shot a bird in the sky

And make money from it

By selling the poor winged thing in the market

But will call you retarded if you will not do it

To you, goddamn society

You will see one day

With one wing, I will fly away

Teehee!
Sometimes we hate society that we often lock ourselves up yet sometimes we can't separate ourselves from them

that's my philosophy anyways.
Judgement is perhaps the worst part of the human psyche. The thing you have to remember is that judgemental people are usually just scared people...they don't understand what they don't understand and thus they default to judgement. At least that is what I try to keep in my head when I feel as though I'm being judged.

I like the photo and the words. Hard to understand this world. It seem we cannot win.

I learn a long time ago. You must try to make yourself happy and try and live a good life. Naysayers are many. Better to smile and leave the negative folks in the dust. Thank you for sharing a excellent poem.

I think at one point or another we all lose faith in society. You have some awesome things to say here, and you say them with such emotion it makes your words all the more powerful. Maybe one day we can believe in society again, but for now I'm with you.

society is rotten to the core
embrace it and all it's darkness
drink some brandy
smoke a cigar
and take your fill or all you can get for the taking

Oh yes Shazza, and smiling is the greatest revenge after all :)
I agree, but create a realm where you can be the queen and the person in command. Sometimes when we can't beat them. it is better to build a new bastion to defeat them. great write. :)
