My Mom

My Mom

A Poem by SimpleMind
"

We'll meet soon

"

She is standing there

In her blue dress

That is blown by the friendly breeze

Her hair is silky straight

I got her big eyes

And her thin lips

She smiles as if it’s the last

She talks with the wind

She moves with grace

Ah! She’s perfectly lovely

I can imagine

Pieces and pieces of her senses

She is lovely

She is beautiful

Though I haven’t seen her even once

I know she is beautiful

Author's Note

SimpleMind
I am always dreaming of seeing my real mother one day. She left without a word and trace, but I know I will be able to understand whatever the reason is. I love her, no doubt with that. Some said she's a whore, but who cares? We all have only one mother, and loving them is the only way we can feel how to be a child. Perhaps, I haven't been a daughter before. But I am myself now, so maybe..just maybe, I can be a daughter someday.

This is so lovely. I am in love with it. So beautifully written. The last two lines were great, I just think it was very well written.
