Paradise

This is why angels fall.

i thought i'd find paradise by your side
but i guess even angels have things to hide.
maybe that's why you won't let me inside;
you don't have to let your hubris preside.

but it seems even angels need a guide.
now only if you'd let go of your pride
and see me beyond your walls outside,
reaching out to you across the divide.

Very nice poem, I liked the way you diversified the rhymes. Just a little tip to make it even better would be adjusting the capital letter of the poem. Aside from that, it's very nice poetry.
