Ignore basic grammatical errors, as there are some rules that, as a writer, I don't care to abide by. I feel restricted when following these rules, and since I have such a hard time getting my thoughts across, I'd rather break a few rules than be grammatically "perfect."

Okay. I'm not sure many people will relate to this. I can, both literally and figuratively. Just out of curiosity, Which was your intention? Maybe both? Sometimes, a reader will see even more than you intended!

The feeling of having "broken legs," or "two left feet," was what I visualized when feeling as if I had been breaking myself over and over while trying to escape a writer's block from a few years ago - I visualized myself with broken legs, running across a shore, finally managing to reach the "water" of my imagination despite killing myself to get to the edge of the land. It hurts, physically and mentally and emotionally, but it's addicting, the rush of the wind past bare skin, the splashing of saltwater, the ache of my bones... It hurts, but my journey doesn't end here, nor will I let it end. That is what I take from the poem. :)
this is really good too, I love the last line, ties it all together very well. It's like refusing to be beat. very lovely, Chry
