Weary

Weary

A Poem by Ian Grimms
"

No rest, ever.

"
Unsure, uninformed
Withdrawal, suicide
Once love
Now bleak
I am subdued
For your own sake, step away from the train tracks
My life to take, from the moment light traveled within me
I knew the world before the world knew who I was
I inhaled the jaded concept of existence
I knew the world before the world knew what I was
I inhaled for you even through pestilence
My time is done
Off the ledge I've gone
No funeral will lay to rest my soul
I've gone weary and out cold
Couple hundred pieces of my brain scattered
To lay to rest the hearts I have shattered
