My Dream

My Dream.

I was visiting a food factory. Mostly meat.

Outside of this well modern factory, there were many large articulated lorries at the loading bay being filled with pallets of well stocked meat produce. It was so busy: in and out.

I walked inside the factory on a kind of tour. It was perforated steel all around me: floor and walls. Like holes everywhere as with a cheese grater. In the middle of this floor was a kind of moving canal in which all the nicely packed items flowed along like at a supermarket checkout. Everything was so clean and respectful.

As I moved forward it broke off into several walkways. I got lost. I turned up halfway through one section. The same steel structure was still there but the area was very steamy. I walked closer to the middle moving canal and saw lots of red raw cattle passing through. I could not tell if they were alive or dead.

I was so horrified I just had to escape: I just did not want to see what happened before or after.

Luckily, I woke up!

The simple message of my dream was.., we all enjoy the final moments of picking up our selected items in store or on delivery: seeing them finely packed, boxed and looking good on ads but we never stop to think how they came to us or even more-so, the possible sad story behind it all.
