Swopping Lives

In an age where everything seems to go and be fully accepted by all society - how about a new idea?

'The Swopping of One's Identity!'

I am not talking here about 'gender-change', 'identity recognition' or even changing one's name by 'Deed Poll' - but literally swopping a whole identity with another.

In other words, when one person is not happy with their life and all it entails, they then find another simular and just simply 'swop lives'.

As like with all other situations it will create a lot of complications and even disputes: when swopping a life it will mean not only just taking on their name but also their household, jobs and even their families.  All bills and other past responsibilities will also be totally exchanged.

One will just become another and it will be legal.

Of course, responsibilities job wise would become a serious issue: if two people of the same trade or profession decided to swop lives then that might work out fine but if a factory worker decided to swop with a doctor, then of course big changes will have to be made. Yet I feel sure that most arrangements will be done suitably just like with our present dating sites.

Now I personally am quite happy with myself and would not want to swop lives with anybody - but then, many people would not want to change their sex either but a good few do.

Many might want to swop lives with the rich or famous - but then, would they want to swop with you?

Not that long ago being gay, transsexual or many other things that are so acceptable today were so frowned upon - so why not add 'Swopping Lives' to that so long now approved list?
