What a Beautiful Day

Not long ago I went to my local store. It was a cold, windy and rainy day.

I said to the assistant “What a horrible day!'

She was an elderly lady and not of British decent.

She said to me in her acute foreign English language..,

“Today is a beautiful day - one more that God has given you!”

I have never forgotten her words.

So now, come rain, shine, snow or whatever.,

Today is always a beautiful day!
