The Save Button

The Save Button

A Story by Christine Peters

I just love to play 'shoot-em up' computer games.

Many times I make a mistake on my decision and so suffer the full consequences. However, before doing so, I hit the 'save button' and so can try and try again as many times as I like until I get it right.

Don't we wish real life was like that?

I mean, not just falling flat on our face trying to chat someone up, having a bad job interview or posting a most regrettable text --  but look at all our past famous people: Television or Film Stars, MP's and even Presidents who just get it so terribly wrong and suffer forever.

We must all surely wish we could have the 'save button' beforehand in our life and then happily start all over again.

I could wake up tomorrow morning with a hangover..,

Hit the 'Play Last Save' button and have a cup of tea instead.
