Size Matters

Size Matters

A Story by Christine Peters

At my elderly residential home I have a big red mobility scooter.

Much larger than anybody else here and I am so long proud of that fact.

Yet now, a new tenant has moved in and their mobility scooter is much larger than mine!

I have not met him/her yet, but I am already holding so much hate.

They say size does not matter, but here I think it does.

They will go willy-nilly on their large size whilst I whittle around being so small-fry.

As they go forth in their stride boasting their greatness, I shall remain in the background twiddling around with my mini-security. Their profoundness of being so large would not matter one ilk if I were to take up gym membership and gain a six-pack. Their large silver 'state-of-the-art' domed, sat nav etc., technology will always leave me so limp in my pants.

What can one do to beat it all?

Prove size does not really matter and inner quality prevails.

Other than that, I want to go on the Jerry Springer Show and do a jousting tournament!
