Just How Much is a Lot of Money

Not so long ago a young child of ten asked me.,

'How much is a lot of money?'

I had to really think about that before answering.

I mean we see many television quiz shows that have prizes from one thousand to a quarter of a million. We got lottery wins from a million to many several more. We even learn about famous stars that go into millions and entrepreneurs that reap in billions.

Yet still that question begs me - 'How much is a lot of money?'

Over the years we have heard sad stories told from Football Pools and Lottery Winners that have all ended up with debt. Same goes for all once high earners, that soon landed them in poverty, jail and even on the bread-line. Tyrants of States that reap in lots of gold prior to being deposed or murdered.

Just how much money should one have to save them from all that?

You might think ten, twenty or even thirty million �" but would that really be enough?

So now I ask you that same question given to me �" 'Just how much is a lot of money?'

I really have no answer myself.
