A Story by Christine Peters

True Equal Balance

"

Two very well-heeled elderly gentlemen were making their way home one cold dark winters night.

En-route, they came upon this ragged old lady begging for money in the streets.

'Don't give her a penny George as she only wastes it on alcohol!'

'But Henry., when you get back to your luxury home, you will sit in a comfy leather armchair in front of a roasting hot fire and pour yourself out a good few decent malt whiskies  - what makes her any worse than you, other than you do the exact same but in pure luxury?'
