Soldier

Soldier

A Poem by Christine Peters
"

A Tribute to Remembrance Day

"

Now then soldier,

You received the Queen's shilling and that deserves you to fall wounded, die or see your  fellow friends perish.

You or your pals are worth nothing short of that,

Apart from, your so valued comradeship.
