A PlaceA Poem by Christine PetersAdded verse from my planned writingsA Place
Have you ever been beyond all hopes, Where life has nothing but all dreams? To lose the sights for everyday, Where the grass is darker than it seems.
Well I've been there and much further still, To a place I could not hide. It lies beyond a crippled will, To a place real deep inside.
Where emptiness and ugliness Are filled with such delight. To grab all hopes to hang on to., A torch to see the Light.
I don't think that I could go More closer to the Truth. But where I've been And what I've seen, Will always be my roof.
If you feel that all is lost, Too much for you to bear., There is a place beyond your hopes., I know, for I've been there.
The feelings felt, I can't describe. A call maybe " a hand " a guide. But all you need for you to find., A Will, a Hope and a Faith not blind.
Its beyond despair of a destructive hand To this place real deep inside. It will give you strength you've lost before And you'll gain your dreams to go on for.
So just believe, without despair.,
There is a Place.,
For I've been there.
