Bloody GermansA Story by Christine PetersAbout Me.., I am UK born but back in the nineties, I lived in Hamburg, Germany for around ten years. Also included are the Contents of my subject.About Me.., I am UK born but back in the nineties, I lived in Hamburg, Germany for around ten years. At first, I did not understand one word of the language but slowly got to pick up enough to get by. Belonging to a member country of the EU, I was first astounded by the many differences there are between our two nations, so I decided to write a kind of diary about it all. I consider myself to be a short story humour writer basing myself on ‘truth and humour’ or simply, stand-up comedy scripts on how I see real life (with lots of exaggeration). Despite the title ‘Bloody Germans’, I do allow them lots of credit for being far more organised than my own beloved country of England. I do hope that my account will entertain and perhaps inform many around the globe, especially those living in USA concerning what Europe is really all about. Written in the nineties, many things I write may have changed a tad but basically, it’s all there today. I sincerely hope you enjoy my article and I welcome any response (good or bad), from all over.
