Someone To Me

Someone To Me

A Poem by Morgan Christine
"

Inspired by the keeper of my heart, for always.

"
It's not who you are to the world;
it's who you are to me-
An old soul with the purest heart
and perfection you just don't see.
Aware of every demon you've faced
that left you fractured from the fight,
their darkness may have surrounded you
but I bear witness to all of your light.
Self-doubt might shout profanities
when you stare into the mirror,
so focus on my whispered praise-
believe you can persevere.
Come to me in pieces, love,
and exist inside me whole...
see how you shine through the love in my eyes
and always I'll cherish your soul.

Your may is never going to be the world to everyone, and that's okay. Because that's what makes it your world. Yes, your world may be someone else's world. But that's how we make our world bigger. Nice piece! I like it!
