Light beams through windows of
an empty room. Thirsty wick. It seeks her grace as another slips through the crack. Warm onto cold. The Rain slides to reveal shadows of faces unknown. Dark to light. Like elements of flesh and bone. And in the distance, the recepticals ignite. Yet still, there are none to ask when. None to ask why. And no-one really to say, just how it is it came to be that way. © 2010 Angela Mulley |
