Life Like a Painting.

Life Like a Painting.

A Poem by Angela Mulley

Life; like a
painting. I am
of such art.

Words alone
but show - nor fear
feign it's line,

Were such a
piece, to stand the
test of time.

The hues may
sigh, but lines, they
do not part,

And I can
tell, by reason
nor by rhyme,

Since it stood
before me, life's
bow and dart.

Fair canvas.
It was desire
shot a heart.

Very well written piece. You draw a pretty descriptive picture here that brings the reader in and keeps him there. Your choice of words in really well done. I will continue to read and review your stuff. Great poem.
