11:11 PM

A Poem by Awkward Bird

The silly little time was coming up again.
I was planning on the same wish I had been making for so long.
The wish for you.
When the clock struck 11:11 PM, I closed my eyes and mouthed my words to the oh so familiar words.
Looking at my cell phone, it read 11:12 PM.
I felt my heart sink.
My phone vibrated, with the message "1 New Message."
It was from you.
"Just wanted to say Hi."
It was one of the most happiest moments of my life.
I love you more than you'll ever know.

very avant garde

I like this, they way its written was nice. Makes me thing of the times I've superstitiously made wishes at 11:11... if only they had come true like in this poem.
