Life

Life

A Poem by Christopher Thomas

Life’s illusion will harm me no more, and
Daily bread I no longer slave for
I’ll reap the rewards " open the golden door
I have faith in trust,
But don’t trust fate to do my work for me
I take what I have learned, but
Remember to forget when
A new page is turned…
The best-looking page is an empty one
So I walk into the shimmering sun.
Burn my troubles down "
They soon will perish…

[The nightbird looks around " flies over the water…]

There appears a refraction in your flights of fancy
The spectacular specter of color awakens
A Phantom, accustomed to the light and shade
Choices made will sooner reveal
THE PATH

Stop " meditate on this one " as everything IS ONE

1 LOVE
1 BEING
1 HARMONY
1 INFINITY
Stop and think, but
Don’t just recall thoughts "
reach into yourself deep…
An open window is beautiful to look through,
But an open door is better to walk through
Don’t jump " lower yourself down. Don’t tread " step proudly.
