heartache

heartache

A Poem by chris morgan

we through we was so close to the finish line turns out we was back at the start
take two on this path, this time ill listen to my head not my heart
we've been down this road one to many times always getting complacent
now its time to move on we both found a replacement
arguments start to get repetitive
we start to shout and scream trying to be louder its getting really competitive
i love you but i cant stand you all the same
everything that ever went wrong you was never to blamed
it felt amazing when we was at our high
but reality soon kicked in and we started to get lost in each other lies
in the beginning we was the real life romeo and Juliet
certain things happened and we both started to look at each other with regret

About
I started to write poetry as a way of writing about how i felt but as a different person. I tend to write more love and loss type of peoms, I think i write about that because more people can relate to.. more..
