You're Here I'm There
You're here I'm there ~ Chasing shadows that were left behind on the walls where we belong ~ Pretending the space next to us is occupied by a smile that takes up room in the corners of the universe ~ Kissing the molecules of un-breathed air in-between the distant lungs of exhaled wishes ~ Talking inside a conversation held in imaginary lingo between two souls wanting the same gravity ~ Looking over vacant shoulders to be sure our name wasn't called by a familiar voice etched inside like minds inside tethered thoughts ~ Wrapped inside invisible arms familiar with the comfort of a beating heart ~ Looking at the lights from a distant horizon of cities & towns separating our desired destination ~ Living inside dreams of magic made from the moments left in time when the future was created ~ For right now ~ You're here I'm there But Somewhere in the future We are together...
Talking about today.
