Sleeping Thoughts of You

Sleeping Thoughts of You

A Poem by Chris Micha
"

Where do our thoughts sleep?

"

Sleeping Thoughts of You

Sleep on my thoughts tonight

On a pillow of granite intimacy

Covered in a warm blanket of electro-euphoria

That powers your wildest dreams of intricacies

Mesmerize me - spinning a shiny heart

Made of soul matter and star light wisps

Throw around a sleepy sunset

So it may awaken a fallen spirit's drift

Whisper a song on a soft gentle breeze

Delivered with attached angel wings

Let it roll down the spine of my soul

Delivering tingling elements of everything

Settle down on this cob-webbed homestead

And be the shepherd of my runaway mind

I'll clean every nook and cranny

With the cleansing love that you provide

Paint the night sky with me

With our naked eyes in wonderment of infusions

We'll take down each individual tile

And create unison within a chaotic world of illusions

I want you to stay with me

Let your voice become the solacing silence of reformed blues

In a place laced in endless dreams

Where my thoughts sleep on thoughts of you.

There is a softness to your words that I find endearing. The images you have created are lovely...
I want you to stay with me
Let your voice become the solacing silence of reformed blues
In a place laced in endless dreams
Where my thoughts sleep on thoughts of you.

endless dreams of the one you love - absolutely stunning!

Soft, alluring poem. I just can't stop myself from reading from the first to last lines and I wish it didn't stop. I was reading this a sweet flow, making me visualize everything. I so love how you drew and showed the readers your world :-)

To sum me up is pretty easy. I love writing because it's therapy for my wayward soul. Although, I am by no means any good at it, I still put myself out there. I use to write when I was younger but gav.. more..
