Bed of Wild Yonder

Bed of Wild Yonder

A Poem by Chris Micha
"

When thoughts of possibilities take you on a journey.

"
Bed of Wild Yonder

Tonight

I journey alone

In a bed of wild yonder

Setting sail on wavy Navy blue sheets

That swiftly drag me under

The falling images of stars

Cover my hand as it reaches for you

through the cosmos of my mind

Causing collisions of possibilities

To create desire in the future of time

In a dark-deep undiscovered cavern

An enchanting beast dances in love licked flames

Her heart covered in icy disappointments

Its beacon signals out to me to be saved

A bridge connects all these together

A lock on each end guards its crossing

Her and I, each hold a key

As we both stand there nervously watching

Lost in the reality of our dreams

We both turn the locks in anticipation

Releasing the connecting wormhole

Bridging the gap for loves creation.

Well … you do know how to swing a pen. To bring romantic love to the ethereal and divine, first takes a solo dive in it, I believe. Wonderful, wonderful write.

Another romantic write by you, full of longing and desire. I enjoyed this one, and the images it made for me a great deal.
In the line "Beacons out to me to be saved" did you mean to say "Beckons" as in "Calls out to me to be saved"
Not sure if I am right or not, but beckons would make more sense on that line.
Any way, whatever, this is good.

Thank you so much, Crystal :)
"wavy navy blue sheets" that is such a cool image...

dreams are so different than reality...and anticipation can get our hopes up, and then we find disappointment...

I do agree dear poet. Anticipations of the unknown make us nervous, disappointments make us jittery and wild journeys make us thunder over yonder. All in the collision of possibilities...Bravo for you connecting...:)..........

To sum me up is pretty easy. I love writing because it's therapy for my wayward soul. Although, I am by no means any good at it, I still put myself out there. I use to write when I was younger but gav.. more..
