The shedding of cherry blossoms

Falls upon her face

Pink romance slips its breath

Underneath the lure of her skin

They dance amongst her spirit

Embracing her essence

Becoming her

 

Twinkle little stars

In her eyes

Dust her in electric dreams

Draw her into your heart

She is now a part of you too

Now release her back to me

Covered so elegantly

In pink romance

 

Whispered in reverberation

Keeping her in secret

The jewel of the galaxy

Echoing her back down gently

Upon the flutter of dragonfly wings

Carrying her into the night

Sparkling in pink romance

 

She's asleep and waiting for me once again

Where I always find her in my dreams

Waltzing the island I built for her

Covered in cherry blossoms

Pink romance. This sounds weird, but the first thing that I thought of after reading this was...pink cotton candy. Sweet, beautiful, and pink.
Loved the end where you write about the cherry blossoms again. They make everything so peaceful and heavenly. (Like my profile pic, lol)
