Some life journeys burn bright like giant meteors flying past a super nova . Others are more of a hungover stroll to 7/11 for beer and lotto tickets. Which one we take ain't necessarily up to us save the decisions we make at ppivotal moments in life that we didn't realize were all that important. Kinda like playing with Legos with your eyes closed, when you finally open them you look at your creation and think "what in the hell is that? "

This was a beautiful poem about how we all live an epic journey in our own heads as we forge a path through life. However, you do not take an excessively idealistic approach as you point out the transient nature of life and how not even the universe itself is immortal with the line ," In the beginning ...
...the ending begins
For all things"

This poem of yours reminds me of those ancient Greek Philosophers, and Geometers who worshiped the circle. It goes without saying that every beginning point on a circle is its ending point. Also, each and every point of an infinite number of points on a circle would destroy the continuity of that entire circle if it were missing, and this shows us how important each point is. Here we have the epic journey of each point.

Life & death is a circle, both crossing at a point, and both infinite. Very wise words that I am honored to have read!
I love the concept you're working with here.
It's rare to find someone who explores our existence in such a deeply meaningful way. The existentially inclined are often too enamoured with their own intellect to bring us close to the ground as you did, and so many poets, so many poems are dedicated to life's banal desires.
That said, I wouldn't have minded a bit more imagery.
Good luck on your epic journey, man.

This is deep and philosophical about the whole purpose / meaning of existence. Took me a while to get past the opening lines as they were so good and really got me thinking on whether I agree, if not, what is the alternative. I do agree, apart from perhaps the construct some call a "soul" but that's a whole other topic.. the poem is carefully considered and well written. Impressive ! Penny

To sum me up is pretty easy. I love writing because it's therapy for my wayward soul. Although, I am by no means any good at it, I still put myself out there. I use to write when I was younger but gav.. more..
