This turned out to be

The lead character

    Should have been played

By anyone other than me

    

Forgot my lines

Missed my mark

    

The casting director

Should be fired

     For giving me the part

Low budget

No director

It's not even being Filmed in Technicolor

Black & white  

No audience

The lack of talent Is evident

Stuck in a scene

Time forgot

Caught in a loop

The reel won't stop.

There are so many ways the poem can be interpreted. For me it was life stuck in a loop of forgotten existence. We mere actors learning our part and ironically life being the greatest teacher of life itself; she can definitely be a hard master. Illustriously penned.
