The words in your eyes

Tonight I'm a mind reader
It's screaming loud & clear "It's over!"

Your eyes look right through me
Like I'm not even here
I might as well be in another dimension
Just close the portal and leave me there

Your silence is deafening
Muddling my brains processing
Our thoughts are about to collide
My heart is about to shatter
And yours is built to survive.
