A POEM REMEMBERING THE SACRIFICE JESUS CHRIST MADE FOR US

"

WE REMEMBER

Without the shedding of blood, there is no remission. You laid your life atonement for my emancipation.  Until you came, we were like the breeze blowing without vision, wherever the land or sea told us to go became our station. We were nothing but fallible souls whose deeds could stand the test of the devil’s verification. You were impeccable indeed, yet you came from heaven to carry my burden. You suffered for us, Jesus. We remember, we remember. We remember when they pierced your ribs; blood oozed and flowed in Calvary. That blood identified and saved me. They hit the nail on your palm, and sound you made like ‘huh’, sent a signal to my father that we were suffering as a result of the sin committed in the Garden of Eden. You are the true son of the super natural being yet because of my sin you came down as a king and enslaved yourself to the cross just for me to win...

We remember, we remember

We remember when you were born in a manger; little did we know you were the savior. You suffered for my sake, you went through tribulations without break, you died for me to wake, my soul I lay, come and take. We remember when Peter promised to stay with you like glue, yet he denied you. We remember when they gave you the crown of torture; your face became a throne full of blood.  You endured until your last breath because of me. That love you showed me is priceless. That love is inexplicable because no one has ever made me fathom that love since birth. That love is incomparable because no one can ever show that love on earth. Not only did you die for me but in the aftermath became a diplomat on behalf of me in heaven. I will forever remember how you suffered on the cross to set me free.

We remember, we remember

We were slaves to sins. Inequities were bullying us in the devil’s arena. There was only one thing that could save us from that oppression, thus, the blood of the holy one. You came and set me free. We will remember, we will remember. Until there is no God, we will remember, until the wind stops communicating with us, we will remember. You are the true son of the super natural being yet because of my sin you came down as a king and enslaved yourself to the cross just for me to win. We remember, we remember.
