UNCRIED TEARS

UNCRIED TEARS

A Poem by chrisdavid

The uncried tears that sit within

Are the emotions you have inside

You have longed to find the one

But the thought of love makes you hide

You could not stand the rejection

Of a love that felt so right

So you'll go to bed alone

And dream away the night

The uncried tears that will not fall

Will continue to break your heart

Because if you take a chance and fail

Then you'll be right back at the start

You don't want to take that risk

So forever you'll be on your own

You just wish a love would find

A way into your home

The uncried tears that still remain

Will never disappear

You may think that love is out of reach

When really, it is so near

There will be someone who will come into your life

And when they do, don't let them go

That's the day your uncried tears

Will, at last, begin to flow

I think this was very nicely done: It had quite good flow.

This is a very beautifully composed poem about love, romance and finding that special person.
