Loving You

Loving You

A Poem by Christopher Bernard
"

Love is beautiful in its own way and can hurt so much.

"
Loving you is like hitting my first home run or drinking my first beer it will never be forgotten
Loving you is like getting exactly what you want out of a quarter machine and that odd is forever not in my favor
You make angels bless on your presence, you are such a precious delight. I think I found heaven in your eyes tonight.
Loving you is like passing a test I knew nothing on and stressed on for weeks but such a relief to bring home, bringing you home was the best test I have ever passed.
Growing up I always would have this little stuffed dog I would take every where and now I have an organ stuffed girl I took every where and love.
Receiving a tax return check is always cool but receiving a kiss from your beautiful unique lips is even cooler
I stay awake at nights remember all the times we spent together and the nights we would stay up talking about the future
Loving you is when I find my self in a middle of a conversation and I think of you and I start to smile and the person Im talking to thinks the movie Split was based upon me
Even on my darkest days your smile makes it the brightest day
Loving you is like getting a tattoo of the last date we had. Call me crazy but girl I love you and the only happiness I felt was with you and I miss having a real smile
I never thought I would be the guy to be on my knee begging to have you back or even just begging to see you for 25 seconds so I can say just another cheesy pick up line like when we first started dating
You were my first love and always will be. So take me back now…  no but honestly you were a blessing and I will always be grateful for the time I ever got to spend with you, It will always remain the happiest time of my life
You made me happy that my suicide attempt didn’t work because without you I would of never would of learned that there is happiness out there for me but I have lost my happiness. I am back at square one the lost kid looking for you
Growing up I was told girls and boys had cooties but baby girl once i met you I wanted all the cooties you had to offer
Loving you is listening to Zero by Chris Brown or This is Gospel and start crying because I miss hearing you sing, I miss your beautiful voice and your mom dance moves
Home will be where ever you are and love will always be in the memories we made
